Cookies & Browser Storage

Cookies are small values a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. Session storage keeps information for a particular website and browser tab. Both can help a service remember what you are doing; neither should be used as a hidden permission to track you.

Reeng uses browser storage to support account and workspace interactions you request. Browser storage can contain personal information, so use a private device where possible and take care on shared computers.

• Sign-in and security: first-party access, refresh and device cookies support authenticated requests. Where used, they last up to seven days from their most recent renewal; signing out clears the access and refresh cookies.
• Ring claiming: a short-lived first-party cookie carries a pending claim through sign-in. It lasts no longer than fifteen minutes and is cleared when the claim completes or is cancelled.
• Account setup: remembers the selected personal or business path and the details needed to open your workspace.
• Profile editing: keeps saved profile details, appearance choices, links and images during your browser session.
• Company workspace: keeps workspace edits such as branding, members and ring assignments during your browser session.
• Networking: keeps connection details and event state associated with the profile in that browser session.

Session storage normally ends when the tab or browser session is closed. Some browsers restore sessions, so closing a tab is not a reliable way to erase sensitive information. You can remove it using your browser’s site-data controls. Required security or sign-in cookies, where used, support authenticated access rather than advertising.

Optional advertising or analytics cookies are not needed to read these pages or submit an enquiry. If introduced, their purposes, providers and lifetimes must be explained before activation, with a separate choice to accept or reject and a way to change that choice. Continuing to browse or accepting the Terms is not consent to optional tracking.

Profile interaction or security records can also be collected by a service without a cookie. The absence of optional cookies does not mean no personal data is processed; see the Privacy Policy for purposes, legal bases and your rights.

You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site data in your browser’s privacy or site settings. Blocking storage may prevent sign-in or cause workspace preferences and edits to be lost. Save or export information you need before clearing it.

Clearing browser storage is different from closing an account or requesting erasure. It does not remove a contact already downloaded by another person or a record held by Reeng or a company. For those requests, use the rights process in the Privacy Policy.

External sites you choose to open have their own browser-storage practices. Their controls and notices apply when you use those services.

We will update this policy when the technologies or purposes change, and seek consent where needed before starting optional tracking.
